Over the course of several months, we will help you build your business development processes based on our 15 Dimensions of Practice Leadership. We will help identify areas for improvement, and help you refine your own Practice. we won't do the work for you, but will provide all the guidance, support and advice you need to achieve the goals you have established. From this, your skills and confidence will grow, and so will your business.
We also serve as sounding board for new ideas, motivator to help you stay on track and reach goals, and provide some perspective in solving problems and conflicts. We will tell you at the outset that we won't have the answers to all of your issues, nor would wealways give them to you if wedid. wewon't replace my judgment for yours; rather, wehelp develop your own skills and potential. Our discussions are confidential with one and only one goal - to help you achieve your goals and become a complete, successful Practice Leader.
The Process - Coaching and Advisory Program
weconduct my coaching and advisory practice principally by telephone, with some follow-up and document exchange via e-mail. Using the phone and e-mail has great advantages over in-person meetings because it's convenient, flexible, and easy to schedule. wealso provide web-based training and education that set the foundation for some of the activities we will pursue.
After establishing your goals, we will evaluate you business development approach, and then prioritize improvement measures and activities. welike to see some quick results, so we will tackle some things that will immediately improve matters. We will then diligently work on revamping your business development process.
Plan on spending a few hours a week working on this effort, an hour of which will be a telephone coaching session with me and another couple of hours working on sales and marketing documents, or reviewing some learning programs. Depending on your needs, desires and travel schedule, expect the entire process to last 3-5 months. In some cases, this can be compressed somewhat

A word about multiple Practice Leaders - Some have asked if I provide semi-private or group coaching sessions. I do not because such a process is unwieldy and generally unproductive. I do provide a reasonable discount for multiple clients from the same organization.
